The fishing has been okay, not great, but fun.. Some YF Tuna offshore, but mostly on light tackle. Some dorado and Striped marlin offshore on fly and light tackle.. Some big roosterfish around, as well as some snappers..

Don Pate went out today, had some fun and caught some dorado and football TF tuna on light tackle.

Quick fishing update

We had cold water move in suddenly last week and shut of the fishing for a few days. The cold green water moved on and the fishing picked right back up again.

There are huge roosterfish, snappers and jacks out there right now, lots of fun on fly and light spin.

Schools of snappers are roaming the beach, and if you catch it right, its crazy fishing.

The roosterfish are huge. up to 70-lbs... is that crazy or what!

The snappers are anywhere from 10 to 30 lbs...

I cant believe how much fun our inshore fishery can be...

Offshore remains the same, some marlin and some tuna.. Worth fishing for, sure, but only if its your day and you hooks up.

The beach slowed down some last week as the cold green water moved around the cape. Some shots, but not great... The water color is looking better everyday, and I bet it will be good in the next few days.

Barry Hughes and Nazario. They are having way too much fun.
