April 18th quick fishing report

Offshore,

Plenty of striped marlin around and only 1 - 6 miles form the lighthouse, but they have mostly been closed mouthed. Having said that, there is still a good chance of catching one. We are catching 1-3 dorado on days we are targeting them.. The striped marlin fishing historically gets very good in both may and June, but the dorado fishing drops off until July.

Inshore fishing(near the beach) has been super on most days for both fly and light spinning anglers. We are catching sierra mackerel, roosterfish, jack cravelle, and cubera and colorado snappers..

This is the start of our inshore season and its starting out with a bang. Any day now, we will start to see the big migration of big roosterfish come through Cabo and then, Mi Amigos, its game on. I love May and June, no finer place to catch roosterfish in the world.

Thats all for now folks.
