Wow, we had shots at very big roosters on the fly, but they wouldn't
eat our flies. Tough day fishing, but a great time had with a good
friend

The big roosters are here, but we can't get them to bite. Lots of shots, damn fish, but its the reason we love to catch them so much!

Don had a very good fishing day yesterday, but I was fishing locally
off the beach and it wad very slow.

The secret is out, three pangas saw us catching fish. The only problem
is that most Pangaea out of SJ kill everything theycatch. I don't give
this school of roosters long to live

Help identify this snake

Lots of snakes out right now. We counted 4 the other day on the dirt
roads, including the 5' diamond back I took a video of.

We came across this dead snake at the end of the day, but I can't
identify it

With the arrow shaped head, I would have said red diamond rattlesnake,
but no rattlers. I am leaning towards a Sonoran gopher snake.
Anybody out there knows, please let's us know

My buddy Brendan Mason fished with us a few days last week along with his girlfriend Melissa. They had a good time and got into some fun in the sun. Sure beats Seattle this time of year!

Beach rooster

This is another beach rooster I landed today. I drove through a snow
storm in Montana yesterday and this beats the hell out of that. Had
shots at multiple big roosters and broke one off. I had a great time
with Grant and learned alot.

Ryan Brewer From Bozeman Montana beach fished with me today. Lots of
action and Ryan caught 3 roosterfish on the fly. About mid-day he
broke off 25-30 lb big dog rooster.
