Back on the fish

We spent a very uneventful day marlin fishing, didn't see a thing, so we hedged ourselves and struck in for the shoreline. Right away we are hooked up. You gotta love Cabo.

We went East and found some calm water. Rich caught this nice Sierra using Ray's new 9 wt rod and reel.

Windy day.

A low pressure system came in today blowing like heck. We are heading back into the lee for some calmer fishing. Wish us luck.

The day after

I am sure some of you are wondering how Cabo fared during the Tsunami. Not much happened. The port Captain closed the port, and around 12:30 the water receded a little.

Bill and Jennifer Johnson had a good time catching sierra mackerel and roosterfish on the fly...They had so much fin the first day, they booked two extra days.

Marlin time!

Scott Caliti and his two boys Todd and Robin had some fun over the last four days... They were fly fishing with Arturo and hooked up at least one marlin each day and landed this nice fish on the fly on their third day. Marlin fishing is looking up.. Arturo said he saw 12 tailers yesterday, but only one came to play..

Justin catches a huge Colorado Snapper. We had another two eat, but lost them. Back to chasing sierras on the fly. We are going to have fish tacos made out of the snapper tonight. My mouth is watering, I can't wait

Yesterdays fishing

It was kind of slow fishing yesterday. That is slow for me. We caught big jacks and a lot of Sierra.

Back in the saddle again

Justin and Cana Caslavka are back again. Cana says it's nice to be warm again. It's way too damn cold back home.

John gets some nice roosterfish and jacks on the fly as well as good action on sierra.

I bet your wondering what happened on Johns day.

We couldn't get the picky roosterfish to eat the fly... It was tough, but we caught plenty of sierra and ladyfish to keep us busy...
