Quick fishing report

Quick fishing report

Offshore fishing.

Striped marlin are finally back in town.  They migrated down with the cooler waters..  The water had been really warm until about a week ago..Everyday now the water will continue to cool down as it pushed down our way by the Humboldt current.  I expect it will be a banger marlin year, it will just be later than normal... Normally come any day in November and its the best marlin fishing in the world..

The dorado fishing has been so good over the last few months, sure there have been some slow days, but mostly plenty of nice big dorado on the fly and light tackle.

The tuna fishing has moved way offshore... If you got he distance, its no guarantee you will catch them.  If you finds the dolphin, chances are you will find the tuna...if not :)

The inshore fishing continues to be slow.. The warm water has kept the fish way north, like 200 miles plus...As the water cools down, the roosters and other inshore fish will start coming back down into our area and the fishing should take off with a bang..

So the outlook looks for really good fishing in December and January...

Tight Lines,
Grant
